This selection is a classic offering from an original legendary producer well-known for sourcing fruit from forgotten California appellations. The robust fruit is singing with blueberry, dark cherry, and notes of truffle swinging into Black olive, White pepper, allspice, coffee, and supple soft tannins on the finish. It is excellent with a meal or to end the day with a satisfying glass of red wine.

This Cab Sauv includes small percentages of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Malbec in the mix. The result is a balanced wine offering notes of blueberry, raspberry and toasted wood, cemented together by a tacky tannic texture, modest acidity and balanced alcohol. (Stacy Briscoe)
