Critical Acclaim

VN 93 Vinous 2024 vintage Jun 2025

The 2024 Chablis Vieilles Vignes, which comes from vines planted in the 1950s, has a perfumed nose that's a little broader than the Vaudécorse. It's nuanced with melon and almond scents. The palate is fresh, vibrant and poised, with a citric line of acidity and just the right amount of bitterness on the finish. I absolutely love this—it's the dark horse the vintage. The 2024 is superb. 92-94 points.

VN 90 Vinous 2023 vintage Aug 2024

The 2023 Chablis Vieilles Vignes has a tightly-wound bouquet, more white peach here, fresh pear and light flinty scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant fatness on the entry. Quite a weighty Vieilles Vignes this year and perhaps it doesn't quite have the same tension as the previous vintage on the finish. But it will drink well for several years. 89-91 points. RP 90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2023 vintage Jan 29, 2026

Sourced from three northwest-facing parcels planted between 1951 and 1953, the 2023 Chablis Vieilles Vignes opens with aromas of lemon confit, tangerine, freshly baked bread and beeswax. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, textural and ample, yet racy and vibrant, concluding in a saline finish. It stands as a richer, more expansive expression than the regular Chablis bottling, offering greater mid-palate amplitude.
