About This Wine
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple in color. The nose opens with vibrant aromas of red berry, black plum, and black raspberry, layered with dusty earth, subtle mocha, and cedar spice. Full-bodied and lush on the palate, it delivers a rich, mouth-coating core of ripe dark berries and sweet plum supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and balancing acidity, concluding with lingering notes of dark chocolate, savory spice, and toasted oak.

Critical Acclaim
Well-built and deep in flavor, this full-bodied wine is a great value for a Napa Cab. Blended with 5% each of Petit Verdot and Malbec, plus 2% each of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, it shows a calm strength and emerging complexity. The wine blankets deep, dark violet and blackcurrant flavors in fine-grained tannins that could use time to soften a bit. Best from 2026–2036. (Jim Gordon)
