Glenora Glenora Riesling 2024 750ml

Mango, pineapple, papaya and kiwi introduce the decidedly tropical 2023 Riesling. The 23 grams per liter of residual sugar slightly outweighs the acidity, but the 2023 is just fresh enough. The finish is clean but simple, leaving an almost viscous coating on the teeth and tongue.

Subtle on the nose, the Glenora 2020 Riesling shows an herbal hint of shiso leaf at the start. The light-bodied palate has lemon and green pear flavors matched with a savory, yeasty note. The nose has fresh fruit aromas suggestive of apricots and peaches. The luscious semi-dry finish is balanced by the natural acidity characteristics of the Finger Lakes vineyards. Riesling is a grape variety which is ideally suited to the Finger Lakes Region. Our soil types and cool growing season mature the grape slowly.
