Critical Acclaim

SP 93 Wine Spectator 2021 vintage Jun 30, 2024

Precise and elegantly generous, this red shows detailed flavors of cherry and raspberry laced with rose petal, black tea and stony mineral notes as it builds richness and tension toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2031. 4,800 cases made. (Tim Fish)

JD 93 Jeb Dunnuck 2022 vintage 8/26/2025

The 2022 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton has a jeweled ruby/magenta hue and an iron-rich, mineral nose joined by cherries, cedar, and polished leather. Medium to full-bodied, with ripe tannins and balanced acidity, red fruit drives its focused, long finish. Drink 2025-2040.

JS 93 James Suckling 2022 vintage Tuesday, May 6, 2025

Bright and focused aromas of dried strawberries, confit cherry, violets and toffee apple. The palate is medium-bodied with bright acidity and fine-grained tannins that lead into a rounded and creamy mouthfeel. Nicely balanced with plenty of fruit. Drink or hold.

SP 93 Wine Spectator 2022 vintage April 30, 2025

Steely in build, with etched acidity that focuses on vibrant cherry and guava flavors underlined with stony minerality and black tea tones as this gathers tension toward sleek tannins. Drink now through 2032. 4,670 cases made.

JD 91 Jeb Dunnuck 2021 vintage 9/17/2023

A ripe and dark fruited style that pours a deep but transparent red, the 2021 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton is sunny and ripe with notes of baked black cherry, red plum, potting soil, and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, it’s ripe through the palate, with meaty cherry fruit, although it cleans off the palate nicely, and it has a bit of toasty incense on the finish. Drink it over the next few years. (Audrey Frick)
