Lime, green herb earth and burnt-matchstick aromas open to a toasty, nutty palate with pear, gingersnap and cracker flavors. Medium-weight, with a steady bead and soft mousse. Finishes long, with a citrus-mineral tang. This is complex, tasty bubbly from an unusual address.

One of my favorite sparkling values in the marketplace and it hails from the unlikely wine territory of New Mexico. The taste is amazingly close to a NV Brut from Champagne.
