First nosings are prickly from the pepper influence, but in such a manner that is simultaneously enlivening and stimulating; the habanero impact becomes more concentrated and narrower of field with more aeration  and  that narrowing makes the second stage inhalations all the more intense. Entry is silky smooth in the texture, mildly piquant at first then the capsaicin (inherent spiciness) kicks in, providing the taste buds with a slow burn of heat that's exceedingly pleasant; midpalate stage is even more flavor focused than the entry as the habanero zestiness turns into genuine peppery heat that blankets the tongue all the way through the acutely peppery finish.
