Critical Acclaim
Another appellation wine, the 2023 Chardonnay Russian River Valley is a bright golden yellow color and offers notes of poached yellow apples, toasted spice, almond, chamomile, and lemon curd. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, as is characteristic of this vintage, and has an even and floating feel on the finish. It’s ripe and has a more pithy texture, but it’s well-detailed and more immediate. Well-suited for restaurants, it should drink well now or over the coming 5-6 years.
A bright yellow color, the 2024 Chardonnay Russian River Valley comes from a mix of estate and purchased fruit across the Russian River Valley. Aromas of Anjou pear, white flowers, lemon peel, and floral perfume emerge from the glass. Full-bodied yet light on its feet, it has a silky weightless texture and floating length. It’s a delicious wine to drink now or over the coming 5-7 years.
Coming from across the neighborhoods of the Russian River Valley, the 2022 Chardonnay Russian River Valley is ripe with aromas of toasted spice, orange rind, preserved lemon, honeysuckle, and baked apples. Full-bodied, with a ripe, classic feel, it has a nice, rounded mouthfeel and offers a lovely sense of place. Drink 2024-2030.
The 2024 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) really overdelivers. It’s an ideal expression of the Russian River Valley, with all the bright, sunny orchard fruit and spritzy citrus lift you could hope for, but also an extra measure of freshness and juiciness that leaves the mouth watering. Notably restrained, the 2024 shows excellent finesse, especially for an appellation-level bottling.
A vibrant white, with a juicy and tight mix of lime sherbet, pear and lemon flavors, plus notes of ginger and lemongrass, all on a sleek, mouthwatering frame. Lemon sorbet, lemon verbena and crunchy star fruit flavors sing on the finish.
Elegant and juicy, with poached pear, baked apple and details of spice, honey and toast with marmalade, jasmine and candied ginger accents on the finish. Drink now. 20,000 cases made.
