Smoke, graphite, roasted nuts and flowers flow from the NV Brut Carte Blanche from Jean Milan. The wine shows lovely complexity in the tertiary aromas and flavors that have developed in bottle, with superb clarity and a rewarding, generous personality. The January 2007 disgorgement is 2003 and 2004 Ojer juice, with 10 grams of dosage. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2011.

Firm acidity provides good intensity and structure, with an excellent frame for the core of spiced pear, acacia blossom, white peach and lemon curd flavors. A bright, fresh wine, with a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2012.
