Critical Acclaim
Lots of caramel and honey on the nose and palate, together with biscuits, dried lemons and mangoes. Full-bodied with a freshness that frames the wine nicely, giving it form and energy. Fantastic chardonnay. Best one from here in a long time. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
A fresh and toasty nose with aromas of pastry, spices, lemon citrus and roasted pineapple. Pretty full and zesty on the palate, with a flavorful center palate and a medium-long, limpid finish. Subtle oak bite at the end. Drink from 2025. Screw cap.
There's good presence and structure to this harmonious white, with a vibrant spine of acidity working nicely with the rich range of creamed apple, chopped hazelnut, Meyer lemon peel and ginger-infused pastry cream flavors. Long and fluid, with a tang of salinity driving the finish. Chardonnay. Drink now through 2035. 4,166 cases made, 770 cases imported.
A luxurious expression that weaves toasted oak and buttery richness together with roasted apple and warm spice notes. The creamy texture and sophisticated oak integration show masterful winemaking, delivering a polished, full-bodied white that honors its ambitious name. A classic that continues to prove why Jermann is one of the greats of Italy.
Made with 100% Chardonnay, the Jermann 2023 Where Dreams have no end (in screw cap) shows a slightly reductive approach, hinting at the full manner in which the wine will open in the glass. That aromatic tightness comes through as crushed stone, crisp apple, Williams pear and white melon, while the palate reveals polished length with a touch of softness leading to a silky finish, alongside the characteristic creaminess often found in northeast Italian white wines. Fermentation begins in stainless steel until about 6% alcohol is reached before the wine is transferred to 300-liter barrique, where it ages on the lees with bâtonnage for 11 months. Fruit is sourced from multiple vineyard sites averaging 30 years of age on sandstone and marl soils rich in mineral elements.
