Aromas of black plum, baked blackberry, nutmeg and flower petals show on the nose of this blend, which comes in a squat bottle. Dry, slightly rough tannins frame dark red-fruit and mace flavors on the palate, which finishes on a Concord grape tone. (Matt Kettmann)
