A fresh and focused red with currants, blackberries, dried orange peel, licorice and moist earth. Velvety and dense, with a medium to full body and juicy fruit underneath. Firm finish. Drink or hold.

The simultaneously floral and earthy nose is defined by aromas of tart blackberry, graphite and pepper. The palate sticks with those notes but also adds flavors of black cherry, cocoa and coffee grinds that bring a textured edginess that's sharpened by tense tannins and piercing acid.
