So ripe that it seems sweet, this generous, mouthfilling wine soaks the palate with dried cherry, black raisin, chocolate and vanilla notes. It’s rich enough to be a dessert in itself or to pair with blue cheese or chocolate. (Jim Gordon)

More expressive aromatically, the 2021 Zinfandel Estate Block 303 La Storia is bursting with ripe fruit cocktail, mixed berries, and peach. Full-bodied, it is fresh and has a silky texture, with a hint of tea leaf and turned earth as well as a nice bit of tangy lift. Drink it over the next couple years. (Audrey Frick)
