Critical Acclaim

JS 91 James Suckling 2024 vintage

Typical albarino with seashells, chalk, nectarines and sea salt. Salty, flavorful and not complex, but this is a really gastronomic white for seafood. Drink now.

RP 91 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2024 vintage

The 2024 Albariño is from different vineyards, mixing granite, alluvial and slate soils. It fermented in stainless steel, where the wine was kept with the lees for five months. They want to express the sharp profile of Albariño, not exotic or exuberant. It has 12.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.2 and 7.2 grams of acidity. It has a floral note and a vibrant palate with very good freshness and acidity with a saline twist. It's a clear step up. 161,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2025.

VN 90 Vinous 2024 vintage Sep 2025

The 2024 Albariño from Rías Baixas spent five months on the lees. It offers a rounded profile with sun-kissed tones and a light terpenic hint, alongside white flowers, apricot and jasmine. This is intense and vibrant, with a defined, malic palate and a long finish for a white wine.

RP 90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2024 vintage

The 2023 La Val is the Albariño from the different vineyards mixing granite, alluvial and slate soils. 2023 was an early harvest, when all the grapes were picked in August. The must fermented in stainless steel, where the wine was kept with the lees for three months. It has 12.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.38 and seven grams of acidity. It's varietal and clean, with notes of freshly cut grass, flowers and white fruit. It has a serious and dry palate that is clean, focused and precise. 161,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2024.

SP 88 Wine Spectator 2024 vintage November 2025

Light-bodied and crisp, with lime peel and Thai basil accents to the flavors of nectarine and tangerine. Minerally chalk and salt notes play out on the finish. Drink now. 11,000 cases made, 5,000 cases imported.
