Tasting Notes
Deep ripe cherry-red color with intense, bright garnet clarity. The nose presents dense, concentrated aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, and blackcurrant, alongside cocoa, toffee, black tobacco, and sweet baking spices, all underlain by the signature mineral streak of the Viña Lanciano estate. On the palate, it is warm, broad, and velvety, offering muscular dark fruit flavors framed by well-integrated oak, refined yet powerful tannins, and lively natural acidity that leads to a complex, long-lasting finish.

Fresh and focused, this rich, stylish red is marked by a pure beam of ripe cassis and black cherry fruit. Medium- to full-bodied and concentrated, with good tension and definition from the sculpted tannins, which are well-knit to a generous range of black fruit, wild herb, graphite, orange peel, smoke and spice flavors. Ends with a fragrant, floral finish. Tempranillo and Graciano. Drink now through 2035. 3,440 cases made, 440 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)
Rich flavors of black cherry preserves and blackberry coulis are enlivened by a tang of orange peel acidity, with lavish accents of licorice, violet and Earl Grey tea. A generous red, offering a muscular frame of tannins, yet this shows lovely poise and harmony throughout, expanding with hints of graphite and cocoa powder on the lasting finish. Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo. Drink now through 2036. 3,487 cases made, 400 cases imported.
