A solid value from the Languedoc, the 2024 Languedoc Les Darons is based on 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, raised entirely in cement on the fine lees. Peppery red and black fruits, leafy herbs, crushed stone, and meaty, violet, and Cornas-like hints all define the aromatics. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with a balanced, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Drink 2026-2030.
