The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Chagual comes from Colchagua. A pale yellow in the glass. The intense nose offers notes of yellow pepper, jalapeño and herbs over a layer of lemon grass. In the mouth, it’s moderately fatty with integrated malic freshness and a taut expression. A crystal clear Chilean coastal Sauvignon.
Shows dried ginger and pea tendril notes up front, which mix with a juicy core of peach and citrus, ending with vibrant, mineral acidity. Drink now. 2,700 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.
