The 2022 Chablis Blanchot Grand Cru shows a bit of wood on the nose, but it is proportionate to the fruit. It may be a little predictable, but it is clearly thoughtfully made. The palate is, again, a little oak-influenced on the entry, but there is attractive fruit underneath tangy orange and mango. The 2022 is spicy towards the finish, and that holds your interest. Give it a couple of years in bottle; it should turn into a fine Blanchot.<br/><br/>
