The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is bone-dry, pungent and firm. It has a distinctive flavor profile of cut grass and fennel, veering far from the tropical notes of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. While I don't personally like fennel - please note if you ever invite me to dinner - I do rather like the wine's idiosyncratic nature and its dry, uncompromising character.<br/><br/>
