Made with co-fermented 90% Assyrtiko, 5% Athiri and 5% Aidani, the Mikra Thira 2024 Santorini Nykteri offers a softer and more contoured interpretation of Santorini's flagship grapes. Fermentation completed in French oak lends notes of crème fraîche, white flowers and Mediterranean herbs, while candied lemon and a subtle sweetness add charm and complexity. This wine is less overtly mineral than the straight Santorini bottling, instead emphasizing texture, balance and a pretty sense of tension. The fruit comes from late-harvested vineyards in Pyrgos on Santorini and Manolas on Therasia, including some of the highest-elevation sites on both islands. Four months in French oak adds richness. Production is 5,750 bottles.
