Deep ruby red with garnet highlights, this traditional Classico Amarone opens with complex aromatics of dried fruit, cherry jam, and orange peel, alongside subtle nuances of leather, underbrush, walnut husk, and balsamic spice. The palate is rich, austere, and full-bodied, delivering concentrated black cherry, plum, and cocoa flavors anchored by a firm tannic structure and 15.0% ABV warmth. Three months of traditional appassimento grape drying followed by 30 months of maturation in large Slavonian oak barrels lends remarkable depth and savory balance, resolving into a long, persistent, and warm finish.
