Quite an aromatic chardonnay here, with discerning notes of sliced green apples, melon and lemon zest. Round and textured, with simple apple pith and nectarines in the pristine yet flavorful palate. Lots of fruit in the round, medium- to full-bodied palate. Drink now.

There's a salty, racy counterpoint to the warm, rich fruit profile in this nicely balanced white, with warm spiced apple, hay and sun tea notes edged in fleur de sel and powered by succulent acidity. Novellum" is an incredibly fun project from Eric Solomon & Jean-Marc Lafage and a certified Vin Chicago all-star. This 100% Chardonnay is made in a style that is enjoyed by all, showing notes of peach, apricot, citrus, salinity, and minerality. 70% of the wine is aged on Viognier lees, with the rest in French oak. All this innovative and thoughtful winemaking yields an inviting texture and perfect mouthfeel. Like all other great French Chardonnay, it pairs well with a myriad of different dishes, specifically chicken and sea fare.
