The scent of Bosc pear, nectarine, sage leaf and green olive wafts from the glass. Brilliant acidity and a full texture that remain on the palate from first sip to finish support peach, passion fruit, pineapple, dried Mediterranean herb and jasmine flavors.

Oro de Castilla Verdejo is made in a classic style which showcases the bright, fresh and mineral flavors of this grape. Light bright yellow. Aromas of Meyer lemon and green apple are accented by suggestions of chalky minerals and sea salt. Dry and racy on the palate, offering lively citrus fruit and fresh fig flavors and a subtle touch of tarragon. Closes on a juicy note, featuring resonating stoniness and very good focus and length.

The 2023 Verdejo Oro de Castilla is greener in hue, reflecting a warmer, more solar vintage. Slightly riper in tone, it shows herbal and lees notes in the background. The palate is loosely structured and fresh, with medium volume and stone fruit characteristics. Well achieved for the style.
