Fruitier on the palate than Palazzo's 2014 Brunello, with strawberry, herb and flinty flavors framed by lively harmonious acidity. An attractively supple, easygoing Brunello with a fleshy, juicy personality and loads of refinement. Firm tannins provide structure on the long nuanced finish.<br/><br/>

There’s a mellow, leathery thread to this Riserva, as well as some riper red-cherry and berry aromas and flavors. The oak adds cedary, graphite-like notes and the tannins are succulent at the finish. Drink or hold.
