About This Wine
Tasting Notes
Pale coral-salmon in color. Intensely aromatic with fresh scents of wild strawberry, tart red currant, watermelon rind, dried herbs, and a signature touch of delicate floral spice. Light-to-medium-bodied and crisp on the palate, presenting flavors of sour cherry, ruby red grapefruit, and crushed slate minerality. Driven by vibrant, mouthwatering acidity that transitions into a clean, savory, and thoroughly refreshing dry finish.
Producer Notes
Founded in 1983 by Ursula and Charles Massoud, Paumanok Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery on the North Fork of Long Island, managed today with their sons Kareem, Nabeel, and Alexander. Situated on 127 acres of sandy loam soils influenced by the surrounding Maritime climate, Paumanok produces estate-grown wines crafted entirely from hand-harvested fruit. Their Dry Rosé is produced primarily via gentle direct press of Bordeaux red varieties, preserving vibrant primary fruit, mouthwatering acidity, and a crisp, dry finish.
