Peppery and floral, the 2022 Cerasuolo di Vittoria wafts up with a spicy blend of crushed wild berries and savory herbs. This opens with a pretty inner sweetness and crisp red and blue fruits. The nose features aromas of cherry blossom, raspberry and blood orange, along with savory notes of pencil shavings and black tea. Cherries and raspberries macerate on the palate, but that sanguine, almost chalky bitterness of tea leaves persists before a salted chocolate finish.
