Critical Acclaim
Vivid and lively, this has aromas of dark cherries, watermelon and a hint of lemons following through to a medium body with integrated tannins and crunchy fruit at the end. Energetic and focused. Drink or hold.
Pretty orange blossom with cranberry and crab apple aromas as well as watermelon. Medium body with fine and polished tannins that shows energy and length. Very fine-textured at the end. Drink now or hold.
A blend of licorice and rose gives way to crushed red plums as the 2021 Etna Rosso comes to life in the glass. It’s soft and round with depths of black cherry and wild berry fruit offset by a savory suggestion of liquid stone. This tapers off structured with a primary concentration coating, and tart cranberry tones resonate. (Eric Guido)
The 2022 Etna Rosso lifts up with an airy array of rosy florals, lavender and exotic spice. It opens with a pretty inner sweetness and soft textures as wild strawberries and blueberries swirl throughout. This tapers off with a tinge of crunchy minerality and a violet resonance, revealing a tart blackberry tone toward the close. (Eric Guido)
This minerally red is light on its feet and fresh, with orange peel acidity and a base note of tar-tinged smoke, joined by ripe red currant and raspberry fruit, hints of red licorice and wild herbs. Reveals light, taut tannins that firm the finish. Drink now through 2028. 1,100 cases made, 525 cases imported.

Light tannins are crisp and fine in this bright red, defining a pure note of crushed raspberry with a hint of pomegranate puree, backed by accents of blood orange peel, dried lavender and tar-tinged smoke, ending with a creamy finish. Best from 2025 through 2032. 31,500 cases made, 916 cases imported.
