Ponzi has been making Pinot Gris for 45 years and they are one of the important standard bearers in the Willamette Valley for the noble grape. Their latest Pinot Gris release is among the best from them that I have tried. It smells like an icy-cold lemon granita that has been hit with a touch of powdered sugar. If you love lemon drops, you will revel in this wine's aromas. With elevated acidity and a fresh, crisp texture, the wine's lemon and lime flavors are doubly refreshing.
