Sangiovese and 8% complementary indigenous grapes make up the Castello di Querceto 2024 Chianti Classico. There is a pretty quality of fruit here, with dark cherry and blackcurrant followed by spice and lightly cured tobacco. Earthy tones add a savory dimension to this straightforward and nicely balanced expression. An ample 195,000 bottles were made.
