Critical Acclaim

JD 95 Jeb Dunnuck 2019 vintage

A ripe red/purple color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is fresh, minty, and ripe with cassis, tobacco, wet stone, and cedar. Full-bodied, it’s plush and velvety in texture and elegant all the way through, and it has a great deal of levity without any austerity. Drink 2024-2045.

SP 93 Wine Spectator 2015 vintage October 31, 2019

Features a dense core of cherry paste and plum fruit, laced with a range of blood orange, plum pit, grilled savory and chalk notes. Tightly focused, with the fruit remerging steadily through the finish. Will cellar well. Best from 2021 through 2034. 7,177 cases made. (James Molesworth)

RP 93 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2015 vintage

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 7% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot. Medium to deep ruby, it has an incredible nose of licorice, dried flowers and mint chocolate over black berries and black cherries, cedar shavings and pencil lead, plus spicy clove and star anise touches. Medium to full-bodied, it floods the mouth with plush flavor layers wrapped in chocolate-textured, pixelated tannins and great freshness to counter, finishing long and luscious. 7,177 cases produced.

JD 92 Jeb Dunnuck 2015 vintage 6/14/2019

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a hot, sunny vintage yet has a pure, classy character. Notes of crème de cassis, tobacco, leafy herbs, and spring flowers are just some of the aromatics and it’s medium-bodied, elegant, and incredibly polished on the palate. It’s another wine from Ramey that’s nicely balanced, with terrific purity and loads of class. (Jeb Dunnuck)

VN 91 Vinous 2015 vintage Apr 2020

David Ramey’s 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is racy and inviting, with all of its natural exuberance on display. Another year in bottle has really helped the 2015 come together. Pretty red fruit and floral notes add a kick of brightness to balance the natural exuberance of the growing season. (Antonio Galloni)

SP 91 Wine Spectator 2019 vintage

Supple and caressing in feel, with sneaky length to its reserved notes of cassis, bitter cherry and damson plum. Savory and cedar accents add range and texture on the finish. For fans of the elegant style. Drink now through 2032. 425 cases made.
