All the violets and summer flowers are blooming! And the velvety tannins deftly underline the good concentration on the medium-bodied palate. Long, very well-structured finish. Only just beginning to reach its youthful best form. Matured entirely in 2,000-liter casks of neutral oak. Drinkable now, but best from 2026.

The 2022 Cabernet Franc is a deep, concentrated wine with lots of dark fruit and tobacco that resonate in the glass. Chalk and grippy, with particularly good weight, it’s impeccably balanced with a long, spicy finish. (Billy Norris)

There's heady, enticing fruit sweetness from first sniff, like red berry jam without the confection, and a leafy, floral touch below. The palate is light on its feet with a tug of savory tannins that reign in the juicy, satiny fruit. An elegant, oh-so-Finger Lakes expression of this French variety.
