Smells instantly of dry breakfast cereal in the initial whiffs - the aroma is strikingly dense and stone dry; aeration stimulates the potent abv as it drifts from the glass in waves, but the aromatic properties become biscuity, malty, slightly spiced, and herbal (rosemary). Entry is surprisingly measured, warm on the tongue with the slightest pinpricks of heat, and gobs of grainy flavor; midpalate is direct, with highlights of dried orange peel, unsalted snack cracker, and a deft touch of vanilla. Aftertaste is extended, concentrated, and totally dry.
