Critical Acclaim
Aromas of bing cherry, warm bricks, top soil, pencil shavings and orange peel pop on the nose, while the palate turns denser with flavors of black cherry, blackberries and dark chocolate strolling along a backbone of peppery earth. Tannins are polished but grippy.
Plum, earth, wild herb and iron flavors are the hallmarks of this red. Balanced and builds to the long, detailed aftertaste, which is firm and chalky in feel. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2027 through 2036. 79,000 cases made, 22,000 cases imported.
