Rich, savory red fruit with iron, licorice, dry earth and orange rind. Firm, dusty tannins with dry, spiced berries on a structured, medium- to full-bodied palate. Good length with a mineral quality at the end. Sangiovese. From organically grown grapes. Sustainable. Drink now but can hold for four to five years, too.

The nose both glistens and crackles, with aromas of ripe black plums, blackberry tea, graphite and pepper. The palate intensifies while staying balanced, as the tangy sweetness of macerated blackberries and blood oranges contrasts with a solid, earthy, spiced element. Lithe, athletic acid weaves through firm yet flexible tannins.
