Tasting Notes

Deep garnet-ruby in color with delicate orange reflections at the rim. The nose is intense, complex, and savory, revealing aromas of dark ripe cherry, crushed violets, dried rose, and wild moss, overlaid with undertones of forest floor, tar, licorice, and black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dense, and powerfully structured, featuring firm, fine-grained Serralunga tannins balanced by crisp, driving acidity that carries a rich core of dark berry fruit through a long, dry, and persistent earth-and-spice finish.
