The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Himmelreich Kabinett halbtrocken is from a parcel facing slightly west from around 40-year-old vines. It fermented and matured in both stainless steel and Fuder and comes with 15.8g/L of residual sweetness. A touch of tart red apple is all the nose presents for now. The palate, however, is vivid, light-footed, playful with lively acidity and fine freshness, a real joy with lemony vivacity and that creaminess of red apple. (Off-dry)
