Bodegas Hermanos Peciña Señorío de P. Peciña Rioja Cosecha 2023 750ml

The young, unoaked and fruit-driven red 2023 Señorío de P. Peciña Cosecha Tinto was produced with a majority of Tempranillo with some 3% Garnacha and 2% Graciano from their own vineyards, and it fermented and matured in stainless steel. It has notes of ripe fresh fruit and a smoky/leesy twist, and it comes in at 14.5% alcohol, with integrated acidity, a juicy mouthfeel, very fine tannins and a fruit-driven finish with an herbal twist. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024.

From 95% Tempranillo with field-blended additions of Garnacha and Graciano, the 2023 Senorio De P. Pecina Cosecha sees only stainless steel fermentation and is kept six months in tank, then bottled, with zero time in oak. Soft tannins surround a full-bodied palate of tangy red fruit, dried rose petal, and balsamic that finishes in balanced acidity. Drink now through 2040.
