Aromas of cherry and cream are followed by flavors of cedar, sarsaparilla and plum that carry through a lengthy finish with firm while ultrafine tannins. This wine will benefit from decanting but there's no hurry to open. Drink 2028–2038.

A well-integrated layer of oak carries robust flavors of red and black fruit flavors, as well as accents of briar patch, cedar and clove.
