Jonquil/maize color is bright and pure. First aromatic impressions are of hot-button molasses based rum fragrances like brown sugar, vanilla extract, marshmallow , graham cracker, and new honey; second stage aromatics turn fruitier than the bakery shop-like first stage, offering pleasing scents of tropical fruits (banana, guava), kiwi, gum. Entry is vegetal, earthy, woodsy, rustic, moderately sweet and ripe; midpalate features many of the entry aspects, adding vanilla bean. Finishes fruity, gently sweet, plummy, and a touch fiery.
