Quite a light, fresh style here. The bright, red and dark-berry aromas and flavors are impressive. Sweet oak spice and a smooth-honed, fleshy feel to the palate, making for easygoing, flavorsome and appealing style. Drink now. Screw cap.

This starts out lucidly but rather densely, with aromas of terra cotta, pepper, savory spice and chocolate framing ripe cassis and blueberry fruit. Medium weight, the plump fruit is tempered by dusty, savory tannins and some intriguing secondary flavors. It’s on the warm side, alcohol-wise.
