Critical Acclaim

JS 93 James Suckling 2021 vintage Tuesday, August 6, 2024

So dense, saturated and velvety, it coats the mouth with smooth tannins and ripe, generous black fruit. Nicely layered and fully tannic but fine grained, practically oozing blackberries, balsam, roasted almonds and black cherries on a full body. Drink or hold.

WE 91 Wine Enthusiast 2020 vintage 3/1/2024

Iron, cedar and wood-char aromas waft from the glass before potent black fruits, dark oak spices and espresso flavors fill the mouth. A full web of tannins holds together blackberries, blueberries and singed-herb notes. Best from 2026. (Jim Gordon)

WE 91 Wine Enthusiast 2021 vintage 4/1/2025

Rich, but not overpowering, this bright and aromatic Cabernet gives aromas of currant, black pepper, cocoa and cedar on the nose. The palate is neatly balanced, with rich roasted cherry and berry flavors in a medium bodied framework of acid and silky tannins with barrel spice emerging over the finish.

SP 88 Wine Spectator 2020 vintage April 1, 2024

Friendly flavors of cassis and cherry compote glide through easily, flanked by a hefty toasted vanilla accent. There’s just enough fruit through the finish for balance. Drink now through 2025. 10,300 cases made. (James Molesworth)
