A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2019 Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder Estate Grown is gently herbal and cedary up front, with deep layers of blueberry, cassis and loam backing up those initial impressions. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, it finishes long, with dusty tannins and a savory touch of black olive.

A very soft and friendly red with plum and blackberry character. Medium body with medium firm tannins and a delicious finish. 80% cabernet sauvignon, 17% malbec and 3% petit verdot. Drink now. (James Suckling)

Shows a toasty overlay, with singed vanilla coating a core of blackberry, black cherry and boysenberry paste flavors. A tug of loam and a cedary frame emerge on the finish.
