First nosing passes find keen aromas of espresso and coffee beans; following aeration the aroma becomes more oily and intensely beany. Palate entry is very sweet and not as fiercely espresso-like as I’d hoped for; midpalate flavor improves as it is richer and deeper than that on the entry. Ends up sweet, nearly liqueur-like.
