Tincup Whiskey Tincup American Whiskey NV 750ml

This high-rye Bourbon (which oddly, doesn’t say “Bourbon” on the label though it meets the basic criteria) is bold and spicy, and plays well in cocktail combinations. A big oak and vanilla mix finishes with clove, dried cherry, and a surprising, bright touch of lemon peel. It’s not distilled in Colorado, but is cut with Rocky Mountain water.

Baking spices, primarily warm cinnamon, clove and anise, are forward on the nose; the rye is quite present as well. It’s full and weighty with a tolerable heat and has a lingering finish where baked citrus carries.
