The appellation 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, and smaller portions of Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. It’s another fabulous wine from this estate, offering pure cr me de cassis, classy oak, new leather, and graphite-driven aromas and flavors. With medium to full-bodied richness, plush, integrated tannin, and the vintage’s fresher, focused style, it tastes like it costs three times the price. Drink bottles over the coming decades. Bravo. A bold and brawny wine with ample tannins wrapped around spicy, oaky, plummy flavors. A full body and big, soft tannins bring a suave texture to the grilled plum, beef jus and mulled black cherry notes. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.

Based on 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, and 4% Malbec, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals currants and blue fruits intermixed with graphite and chocolaty oak. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced, it shows the open-knit style of the vintage, offering smoky black and blue fruits in a pleasure-bent style. This impeccably made effort represents solid value. Drink over the next 6-8 years.

An excellent value, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon from Titus is marked by slightly high-toned cherry fruit joined by hints of vanilla and pipe tobacco. A full-bodied blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec, it delivers an intriguing juxtaposition of red cherries and darker, loamy notes. It's supple, almost creamy across the mid-palate, then softly dusty on the finish.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon deftly balances hints of vanilla and cedary oak against notes of ripe cherries and cassis. While not overly complex, it’s harmonious and supple, a medium to full-bodied wine that will complement a meal rather than overpower it, yet it still has ample concentration, richness and depth. Drink it over the next 10–15 years.

This full-bodied wine enjoys flavors of blackberry, cedar and generous toasted-oak spices. Abundant but smooth tannins fill the mouth and carry through a long finish. Enjoy with slow-cooked meats or even hard cheeses. No hurry to open this wine. Best after 2026. (Elaine Chukan Brown)
