Critical Acclaim
Aromas of freshly crushed ripe berries, violets, dried herbs and crushed stones. Juicy and savory with medium body and firm, polished tannins. Bright and vibrant with a fruity finish. 50% malbec and 50% cabernet sauvignon. Drink now. Screw cap.
Sweet tobacco and some blackcurrants. A hint of milk chocolate and sweet spices. Round, medium- to full-bodied on the palate with sweet black cherry fruit and a ripe but juicy finish. 50% malbec from Lujan and 50% cabernet sauvignon from Uco. Drink now. Screw cap.
A harmonious fusion of Cabernet and Malbec, with floral cedar, tobacco and black currant accents to the plum and berry center. Hints of cocoa powder and spice chime in, and there’s nice vibrancy to the finish around fine tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Drink now. 20,000 cases made, 10,000 cases imported.
A simple, fruity red blend of 50% malbec and 50% cabernet sauvignon, showing ripe, lightly baked cherries and a touch of hibiscus. Generous and juicy, with a direct, fruity finish and some chewy tannins. Light spritz on the palate now, but it will come around in one more year. Drink from 2025.
This easygoing red has a sweet nose that evokes aromas of cherry candy. The palate is lightweight and delivers cranberry flavors and soft tannins. Enjoy now.
The 2021 Maximum Red Blend is a 50/50 blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, mixing grapes from Valle de Uco and Luján de Cuyo, with 40% of the wine in contact with American oak staves and 7.5 grams of residual sugar. It has a commercial profile and a sweet finish with some dusty tannins that give it some rusticity. This is produced exclusively for the US. It has a moderate 13.5% alcohol. 250,000 bottles produced.
