This 100% Malbec from the Río Negro Valley was fully harvested by March 5 before aging in used French oak barrels. Deep purple with a ruby shimmer, it presents mild notes of raspberry and plum jam. The palate is fruit-forward and slightly rough with sharp tannins and a medium body. If kept for at least a year, it will soften up pleasantly.<br/><br/>

Early aromas of chocolaty oak and vanilla are quickly replaced by red berry, plum and rubbery scents. This is a forward style of Patagonian Malbec with healthy balance and intensity on the palate. Savory blackberry and peppery spice flavors finish steady, with modest tannic bite. (Michael Schachner)
