About This Wine
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red with violet highlights. The nose is lifted and aromatic, bursting with fresh red currant, dark plum, and wild blackberry, underlain by notes of Mediterranean scrub (maquis), crushed volcanic rock, and warm baking spices. Medium-to-full-bodied and lively on the palate, it exhibits a concentrated core of dark fruit supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and a striking beam of sea-breeze fresh acidity, finishing long, savory, and mineral-driven.
Producer Notes
5ha vineyard near the sea, opposite the Aeolian Islands. The sun, the heat and the cool sea breeze wrap around this wine like a gentle hug. Grapes are grown organically with biodynamic treatments. Tones of violets, red currant, and sun-warmed blueberry, with moderate tannins.
