The 2024 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett comes with a petrichor note and slight peachiness on the nose. Saltiness, verve and herbal savor on the palate all make the mouth water. Its sweetness almost disappears while zesty citrus and stone lead the charge. Zestiness is everything on that gorgeous finish. (Off-dry)<br/><br/>

The 2023 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett offers a lovely earthiness on the nose, reminiscent of dark wet slate with a hint of smoke. The palate delivers ripe Mirabelle juiciness laced with lemon and a slight veil of delicious pithiness. The body is svelte but the flavor is full. (Anne Krebiehl MW)

From 40- to 50-year-old vines, the 2022 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett opens with an intense but filigreed and refined nose of ripe Riesling berries and delicate notes of weathered brown slate and pink grapefruit. Pure and saline on the palate, this is a light, filigreed and almost fragile but lush Kabinett that is enormously saline and highly stimulating on the finish. The 2022 already drinks beautifully. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2023.
