About This Wine
Producer Notes
This 2023 vintage of Cabernet Franc is wonderfully expressive starting with notes of cranberry, cherry, and licorice on the nose. The palate brings in some flavors of pomegranate, raspberry, and cedar. It has a nice medium body with the tannins to match. The mix of fruit notes, oak, and mild herbaceousness provide a really well rounded and smooth drinking experience.
Critical Acclaim
Pretty spearmint, mint and cherry aromas follow through to a medium body, firm and fine tannins and a crisp finish. Juicy and lightly chewy. Nicely framed. Drink or hold.
A soft rhubarb and cranberry tang, accompanied by flower stems and white-pepper spice, is pricked by a slight acetone note. Raw and fresh, with raspy, skin-derived tannins, it feels stripped back and rustic, like a quaffable vin de table equivalent. Drink slightly chilled with charcuterie.
